The Greatest Train Stations

Grand Central

This is one of the most famous train stations in the world. It has the most tracks in the world, at exactly 44. But, unfortunately, this train station does not have much use. It serves only the Metro North trains,  which are regional trains that only go to 3 states. America's main train system, Amtrack, has only reached Grand Central recently.

Gare de Lyon

Gare de Lyon station is one of Paris's nearly 7 train stations. It has three train halls, including France's famous TGV high speed trains. Many of the TGV trains from Gare de Lyon go to Lyon city, a large city in france.

St. Pancaras Station in London

St. Pancaras is a major train station in London. Most of London's train stations are the same: historic, old, and has a large train hall with a dome skylight roof. This station is shown in the beginning of the Harry Potter movies. Although the station in Harry Potter is supposed to be Kings Cross, but the station facade seen from the outside is actually St. Pancaras.

Washington D.C. Metro Stations

Washington D.C. metro is not a giant system, but their stations are large and spacious, which is famous. They usually have curved roofs, and are usually very tall.
